Argyll and the Isles Tourism Ltd was formed in March 2012 to represent the interests of the tourism industry in Argyll and the Isles.

With a brief to create a website that stood out from normal destination marketing groups, we came up with the idea of having information from a local perspective rather than just a list of things to do. To this end the Explore Argyll website features 'Explore like a Local', 'Recommended Journeys' & Interactive mapping to engage visitors in the Argyll story.

The site features a 'floating panel' design built to highlight the great photographs of this stunning part of Scotland. This design style has now been adopted by many of the local marketing groups to create a consistent visitor experience for Argyll tourists.
